If the "Notes" content contain double quote, ", recipients are not able to view words/content that are defined after the double quote. For example, placed the following lines in the Mail Page UI under the "Notes" session:
This line has a double quote followed by ABC followed by a quote sign:
"ABC" testing 

The email content received by the recipient would be:

This line has a double quote followed by ABC followed by a quote sign:

Note as the content "ABC" testing is missing from the email received.

Apostrophes in the Notes field are also incorrectly converted and become '

I think this needs Increased priority. From a user perspective not being able to use simple quotes in the body of a message is very frustrating. A non technical type user has no understanding of why they can not simply use basic word processing skills to convey a message to others.

Using the notes field in a production environment and being able to use quotes within the text being written is essential. Any idea of a fix timetable?

In addition this issue has been reported in URL: https://support.atlassian.com/browse/CSP-13810

Thus I suspect the issue is much wider than the 3 votes logged here.
