I'm making two charts using the same filter.
The first has as summary field the Assignee -> I get a nice chart
The second has as summary field the Priority -> I get an empty chart

All issues selected by the filter have both an Assignee and a Priority,
since these 2 fields are mandatory at my site.

The other parameters are left default.

In the log there is nothing suspicious, just:
2007-05-09 16:57:20,524 http-8080-Processor23 INFO [plugin.report.timecharts.TimeChart] Retrieving results for Priority ...

Is it possible to send the Summary of the filter, as shown in the View and Hide area on the left-hand side? If you sort the result of the filter by Priority do you see anything odd at the start of end of the list of issues? The other thing that may help debug this is if you can add

log4j.category.com.packetmotion.jira.plugin.report.timecharts = DEBUG, filelog
log4j.additivity.com.packetmotion.jira.plugin.report.timecharts = false

to your atlassian-jira/WEB-INF/classes/log4j.properties file to increase the amount of debugging information shown in atlassian-jira.log

Summary
Project: PacketSentry
Fix For: 3.0.0, 3.0.0_Alpha and 3.0.0_Beta1
Created After: 1/Jan/07
Sorted by: Created descending, then Key descending

Ok, now I understand. Here is my filter summary:

Project: RG3_Ultra LOW_VW
Issue Type: Task
Reporter: plate
Sorted by: Assignee ascending, then Key descending

Displaying issues 1 to 44 of 44 matching issues.

I am having the same issue. I have an empty chart when I set the summary field to:
Components
Issue Type
Fix for Verions (non-archived)
Fix for Versions (all)
Priority
Project
Reporter

...and the chart works flawlessly when I set the summary field to:
Assignee
Raised in Versions (non-archived)
Raised in Versions (all)
Resolution
Status

I am pleased that 'Status' works, as this is the one that I am most interested in capturing. But I really wish that Priority would work. Please feel free to contact me directly should there be any additional information that I could provide to help.
