The dates in the report are some ISO format:

Thu Apr 26 00:00:00 PDT 2007

The closest thing that Excel seems to have, in the US language at least is:

4/26/07 00:00

Providing the dates for Excel in this format would be helpful for creating charts

Even though the format doesn't match exactly, Excel seems to recognize it if you choose Time as the type of the X-axis in the chart setup.
