To have a workaround to http://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-5383, it would help to allow filtering using the more common searcher options (e.g. current user, specify user) instead of having to hardcode a specific user.

Also fix the typo ALlows ==> Allows

I only added a custom field of type Vote Custom Field: "ALlows [sic] users to vote or un-vote an issue". That field doesn't appear in issue navigator. After reading your comment, I added a field of type "Voters on an issue: "Displays everyone who has voted on an issue", and I see that does accomplish what I was after. I've edited the issue's description to reflect the new improvement request.
