We are making the following change to the REST API’s for Assets in Jira Service Management Cloud:

We will be removing the summable attribute from the request/response payload of the following endpoints:

1. /object (response)

2. /objectschema (response)

3. /objecttype (response)

4. /objecttypeattribute (request/response)

This change will be made on or after 31 Jan 2025.

As part of our continued focus to improve the native experience of our products, we are deprecating the External Asset Platform. On December 31st 2024, we will shut down the External Assets APIs, platform, and functionality. Creating and updating multiple assets is now possible with the new Bulk create or update assets endpoint.

The endpoint accepts up to 25 assets in each request.

Fetching a list of assets using Get all assets now supports filtering the results by asset type.

It is possible to filter by multiple types.
