How to get user account IDs

To define a rule's author and actor by using an automation API, you need to provide the user's account ID.

To get a user's account ID, you can either get the account ID from admin.atlassian.com or you can use an API.

Currently the APIs to get a user's account ID are product specific:

• For Jira: The find users API endpoint
• For Confluence: The search users API endpoint
