The Atlassian Government Cloud (AGC) is a dedicated cloud environment designed to meet the security, compliance, and operational needs of United States government agencies and their contractors. AGC is FedRAMP Moderate authorized and provides enhanced controls, continuous monitoring, and a separate perimeter from Atlassian's commercial cloud.
AGC enables government customers to leverage the innovation and collaboration of Atlassian Cloud, while meeting strict federal requirements.
Marketplace apps are a critical part of the AGC experience, but they must be explicitly enabled by app developers for AGC, and are subject to additional security and compliance processes.
At present, only Atlassian support teams can install apps for AGC customers in production. See Manage Marketplace apps for Atlassian Government apps for detailed information on how customers find, assess, and install apps.
To make an app available to AGC customers, the app must be compatible with the AGC:
See App compatibility for details.
Marketplace apps DO NOT need to be FedRAMP Moderate authorized to operate in Atlassian Government Cloud. However, some customers may be required to authorize apps as an external service.
For related details, see Security and compliance on the AGC and App authorization.
