Distribute AGC-compatible Forge apps

Atlassian Marketplace currently doesn't support AGC. This page outlines the interim process for making your Forge applications discoverable by our AGC customers while we work on making our Marketplace AGC-aware.

To distribute your applications in AGC, it's essential to ensure that your applications are AGC-compatible. As the Atlassian Marketplace is not yet AGC-aware, you will need to contact our Ecosystem support team to enable AGC customers to access your apps.

While raising the support ticket, we will require two specific pieces of information from you:

  1. Your AGC app ID value. You can locate this in your app's manifest file. This ID should've been created during app creation/registration.

  2. The major version of your app currently in production. You can find this value in the developer console. Please ensure that:

    • You obtain this value from the AGC developer console, not the standard cloud one;

    • You retrieve the “Major version” for the “Production” environment type.

Deployment versions and environments

Once your application is made available to AGC customers, our support team will notify you.

Note that new major versions won't be installed automatically. For example, if you instruct us to distribute major version 2, we'll continue to install this version for AGC customers, even if you deploy version 3. If you want new AGC customers to get version 3, you must submit a new support ticket.

If you wish to make your app unavailable (similar to removing a Marketplace listing), contact our support team.
