Before you start using the user provisioning REST API, familiarize yourself with how the operations will affect the managed accounts in your organization. User and group information created via the user provisioning REST API is stored in a directory associated with your organization. Synchronization services periodically push user account and group membership updates from the directory to the organization's sites.
Before using the user provisioning REST API, make sure you have enabled user provisioning. See Apply Atlassian Access policies and features.
