Build your app in cloud

This page will help you find the resources you need to prepare your apps, customers, and business for the cloud, as we becomes a cloud-first company. After February 15, 2024, there'll be no more support for server products or server Marketplace apps.

For Marketplace Partners with access to the Partner Portal, visit Journey to Cloud for guides on cloud pricing, customer trust, and building your app in cloud.

Did you know? Customers migrating to cloud results in a 19%-34% seat increase in core products, 2 years post-migration completion.

Build for cloud

We offer a number of cloud development options:

  • Forge, Atlassian’s serverless app development platform
  • Connect
  • External apps, scripts, and integrations

If your server app code can't use a cloud equivalent, you could also consider Data Center.

Help your customers migrate

Offering your app in cloud unblocks your customer's migration.

Once you've built a cloud version of your app, visit our App migration platform to find:

Where to go for more information

If you're an Atlassian Marketplace Partner, check the Partner Portal for regular updates.

On the portal, you'll find a dedicated resource hub for Marketplace Partners preparing for cloud. It includes detailed information for:

  • Customer trust
  • Building your app

To apply for portal access, you need at least one paid-via-Atlassian app and a private domain:

  1. Visit Developer and Marketplace support.
  2. Select Partner resources.
  3. Select Access the Partner Portal.
  4. Submit the form with your details, including your Vendor ID.

If you don’t have access to the Partner Portal, leave your questions and feedback in the Atlassian Developer Community forum with the tag server-eos.

Visit Atlassian communication channels to find where you can get more updates.
