Get help and suggest changes

This page explains how to access support for the app migration platform, and how to suggest changes to the platform.

Get help

For all help requests, please provide as much context as possible, including:

  • your appKey, the versions of Jira and JCMA or Confluence and CCMA
  • specific code examples including your implementation of onStartAppMigration() and related code, if necessary
  • the transferId and time (and timezone) of any migration
  • any curl commands and output with verbose logging
  • any error messages and HTTP responses from Atlassian services
  • any screenshots (capture the entire browser window with the URL in the screenshot)
  • any full stack traces from Jira or Confluence
  • any logs from Jira on packages and or Confluence on package

To get help from the Atlassian community, post your question in the Atlassian Developer Community Cloud Migrations category and a member of our team will respond.

For Marketplace support

If you need help with your Marketplace listing, visit Developer and Marketplace Support and select the App listing category. Fill in the details to explain the type of support you need.

Escalate a critical incident

If the incident isn't already being reported on StatusPage or in a public ticket, go to Developer and Marketplace Support and select Incidents.

Suggest changes

If you have a suggestion related to your app:

  1. Open the Migration platform Jira project (MIG).
  2. Click Create, and select the Suggestion issue.
  3. Add a detailed description of your suggestion, and complete all the required fields before creating the ticket.
  4. Select Apps - Migration Assistant in the Components field.
  5. Click Create.

You can also make a suggestion in the Atlassian Developer Community. We might triage your suggestion and create a ticket on your behalf.
