We’re updating the terms that apply to your use of the Atlassian Platform to (1) incorporate our new Forge DPA, (2) update the security requirements that apply to your Apps, (3) accommodate Trello Developers under a single agreement for all Atlassian Developers, and (4) update our contact information. For more information, please read the full Atlassian Developer Terms.
The new terms go into effect on November 11, 2022 for new Developers. For existing Developers, the new terms will take effect on December 11, 2022. If you do not agree to any of the changes, your sole remedy is to terminate this Agreement prior to the date on which the changes are to take effect by (i) providing written notice to Atlassian and (ii) ceasing all use of the Atlassian Platform and any relevant developer credentials.
This is the agreement between Atlassian and third party individuals, Developers or companies that use the Atlassian Platform to develop Apps and integrate with Atlassian Products. It governs the rules for accessing and using the Atlassian Platform, Developer obligations to end users (such as security, provision of legal terms to users, and so on), and other rules of the road for Apps.
The new terms, effective November 11, 2022 can be found here. An archive of the previous terms can be found here.
The point of this refresh is to make sure that the terms (1) incorporate our new Forge DPA to help you comply with privacy regulations, (2) include security requirements that reflect our current best practices for Apps, (3) cover Trello Developers, their Apps, and Power-Up Listings, and (4) refer to the correct corporate entity for contact purposes.
