Atlassian Developer Terms: Loom-Specific Terms

Effective starting: December 3, 2024

These Loom-Specific Terms apply if you use the Atlassian Platform to develop Loom Apps under the Atlassian Developer Terms (the "Terms"). The Terms apply to your use of the Loom SDKs and any APIs, software, and other developer tools for the Loom Service (together with the Loom SDKs, the “Loom Platform”), subject to the below. Capitalized terms used but not defined in these Loom-Specific Terms have the meanings set out in the Terms.

  1. Loom Developer Guidelines. References to the Developer Guidelines also include any developer guidelines, policies, restrictions, requirements, or similar information for the Loom Platform provided in the Loom developer portal.

  2. SDK License. Subject to the Terms and these Loom-Specific Terms, Atlassian grants you a limited non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to copy and use the Loom SDKs to build and provide Loom Apps for lawful business, professional, or work purposes only.

  3. Third-Party Content. Atlassian may, but is not obligated to, review content submitted to and accessed from the Loom Platform and Atlassian may remove or refuse to display certain content that violates the Terms, the AUP or other Atlassian policies. Atlassian is not responsible for and does not make any representations or warranties about any third-party content. To the extent you submit or allow any content to be submitted to Atlassian via the Loom Platform, you grant Atlassian a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, non-exclusive license to process, use, store, modify, copy, display, communicate, and publish such content in order to allow the Loom Service to interoperate with your App and to provide, improve, and protect the Loom Service. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights (including the rights from your end users) to grant Atlassian this license.

  4. Attribution. You agree to display any attributions as may be required by Atlassian in accordance with the Developer Guidelines.

  5. Your Marks. If you use the Loom Platform to develop Loom Apps, Atlassian may may (but is not obligated to) use Your Marks as well as incidental depictions, screenshots, video, or other content from your Loom Apps, solely to reference your Loom Apps and use of the Loom Platform, provided that (i) Atlassian may not imply that you create, support, or endorse any Atlassian products or services in any way, and (ii) Atlassian will comply with any branding guidelines you provide.

  6. Security Incidents. You must notify Atlassian upon discovery or notice of any Security Incident by sending a report to security@loom.com instead of following the ticketing process described in the App Security Incident Management Guidelines. Except for this form of notice, all other requirements in Section 9.7 (Security Incidents) of the Terms apply to Security Incidents involving Loom Apps or the Loom Platform.
